Dr. John H. Hillison Legacy Fund
Dr. Hillison has been an avid part of the Virginia FFA as a past professor and department head of the Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech. He has been a member of the Virginia Tech community since 1976, and provided statewide leadership to Virginia agricultural education programs, and was subsequently selected as a Fellow of American Association for Agricultural Education. Upon his retirement from Virginia Tech, Dr. Hillison continues to share his wisdom with many FFA members and guests each year as he challenges their FFA History and conducts countless tours of the FFA Historical Room. Each year, the top five students participating in the FFA Quiz Bowl written exam have the opportunity to compete for a scholarship from the Hillison Legacy Fund to attend National FFA Convention.
